I'm home for spring break!! I woke up this morning and almost forgot where I was! yes, in the comfort of my own bed :)
I've never been so excited for grey skies and rain! aha. I got in yesterday around 1230ish, went to H&L with mom, took a 2hr nap, and had a delicious home cooked meal :) and watched Michael Clayton with DAD (mom... asleep but pretended she wasn't, austin passed out after 1/2hr, megan... well she just lost interest.) I thought it was a good one contrary to the majority of my fam.
This morning mom and I watched No Reservations with Cathrine Zeta Jones... so cute. Austin also came in for part of it hungry for bacon and toast... oh how things haven't changed.
THis week is so exciting because I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING PLANNED. yep, with the exception of going up to stay with Ronette at SU for a night I am a bum who is going to sleep and eat and love and cuddle with my family :D
Side note: I offically have 2 weeks of pledging under my belt. ummmhmmmm. 3 weeks to go.
scary to say but I had 10 hours of sleep under my belt from Tuesday to Friday. 10 hours. 3 nights.
I actually reached a point of exhaustion I did not know existed. To try and better my situation I decided to have my first cup of black coffee, with cream and an equal. I found it surprisingly yummy, decided to have a cup and a half more and spent most of Friday with a splitting head ache. fun!!
Tennis is going well, with the first part of our season over. We played La Verne Saturday morning (I missed it because of my flight!) and we won :) yah.

Mar 9th -- sorority presents (where each sorority and frat pledge classes come up with a 6-10 min dance and preform it in front of the greek community) no, we havent started..

a pretty day :)
I'm in study hours right now but I have been here since 1pm so assignments are pretty much done. I've been so sparce on my updates whenever I have a few minutes now all I want to do is write entries to keep up with myself!!
The goal of this whole blogging thing is to take my freshman year at school and print out and bind it into a sort of book. I knew before coming here these would be the times I want to remember forever. AND given that I am not comfortable relying on my memory to fulfill that issue i thought this would be a good idea. So although typing out these entries is for my family and friends to keep up with me, it is also for myself.
I always hear adults talk about their college experiences, get half way through a story, and then find the details blurry (yes, even sober stories.. haha) :) and I don't want to not have something to allow me to remember again.
I may not remember the papers im writing along the way, but I will remember the laughs and people i shared them with =)
I hope my family of 3 (mom, dad, and austin) + calvin.. are having fun in Whistler!!!
And maymay in arizona where its snowing..? loved the picture! :)
OH.. and minor problem.. my phone was apparently defective and wasn't reaching service, wasn't ringing and then would just say I had messages, and would heat up really like burning hot when I plugged it in to charge it... yea...
SO jackie and I took it to the Verizon store and I got a new one (the same phone) just a replacement. They kept the same battery but said it was an "internal wiring problem" ? hmmm..... yes.
my title is just a little indication of how nice it is out today! nothing but blue skies :) i honestly still feel like I'm on vacation.
its so gorgeous here!!!

Ahhh....
ah! I think this is the longest I've been without an update!! Well, you can alreayd guess the reason. I am offically a new member of the Delta Kappa Psi Sorority. I am in the end of my first week of pledging the saying it was a time commitment would be an understatment. I'm loving it all and have no complaints but running on 5 hours of sleeping is become the norm and I dont know how long I'll be able to stay standing and this rate!
Let me just say I am very very very excited to be coming home for spring break! My flight is next saturday, a week from tomorrow!! soo excited to see my family, be home, and sleep!!
Thank you family for the A M A Z I N G valentines day care package a received yesterday. Complete with shower gel 'grace' =) some delicious cookies homemade by my amazing sister, a cute new shirt! dvd, candies, a coffee thermus, gum, and more!
AND thank you Nana for the yummy choclates I got today! I had to put them away becasue I was eating too many!!
I hope everyone had a great Valentines day. Mine was complete with classes, tennis practice, study hours, and some not so fun crafts. Anyways, I wanted to wish Megan a safe and fun trip to the Grand Caynon today for a week! and the rest of the troops to Whistler for the long weekend.
Yes it is President's Day.. but do we get it off? no...
We have a match against Occidental tomorrow at 9:30.. go bulldogs!!! :)
I miss writing entries often but am struggling to find the time.. ill get better at juggling I promise!!

a tuesday
Just an average tuesday. Thought I would update some.
Today was sunny, little windy, got to about 65.
but blue skies!! little better than WA? ;)
Current Calendar:
*Wednesday: in-gym workout 230pm, individual hitting 2pm
*Friday: Math Test, In-class Spanish writing; early 1pm practice
*Saturday: DOUBLE HEADER: Match vs. Whitter 930am vs. Chapman 2pm (I'm playing singles, possibly doubles)
*ALSO Saturday: BID DAY (aka sorority stuff)!!!! because this is going on all day and is mandatory I was excused from the Chapman match
*Saturday night: SCREAM NIGHT... pledging begins..... aka. my life ends
(shhhhh!)
its not offical yet but... DELTA KAPPA PSI ♥
*Sunday: brunch with my girls
*Next Thursday --> Archaeology MIDTERM, valentines day.. wooo?
On courts today from 1:30-4:30... + 2 classes = long day!
BIGGEST LOSER WAS AMAZING TONIGHT ahhh i love that show!
home in 17 days... :)
